In 'Space Force 2319,' you work to collect the funds necessary to unlock all of the personified versions of a number of historical spacecraft!
Each ship gains experience as it is used in battles and, as it levels up, can be customized with new weapons and abilities.
Levels consist of multiple waves of various enemies, and your goal is to take out enough of them to meet the target score... without being destroyed in the process. You only get one life, but don't worry: you have enough health to take a few hits, and your hit points increase as you level up!
Different enemies behave in different ways. You'll soon learn that the movement patterns of an enemy are given away by its shape, while its firing tendencies are telegraphed by its color!
If your ship takes too much damage, you must visit the hangar to repair it or (if you're not short on funds) to purchase a new one!
Spaced Out is a turn based tactics game with a classically inspired look.
The player may deploy one or more units to each mission. Most goals are achievable through a variety of methods, so defeating every enemy is rarely the only way forward.
Tactics sections are interspersed with downtime segments where you can talk to NPCs and gain new weapons and abilities. There are plenty of interesting characters to meet!
In this game, you find yourself trying to make your way to the front of lines, only to find your destination move ever further away. Is it actually a simulator though? Well...no.
You find yourself in a room with a single file line leading out of a far door. Your goal is to search your surroundings, as well as any accessible adjacent rooms, for clues that will get the others in line to leave or let you cut in front of them.
Puzzles range from navigating NPC dialogue choices to solving environmental puzzles.
